This year, I was able to go home for 10 days immediately after I finished finals, and before I started my new internship. I think it's really important to have some down time between major activities, such as school, internships, jobs, etc. I don't know how some of the interns finished school, and then started interning the following Monday!
The night before I left for home, my suitemate and I feasted (again) at Madison Sq Eats to celebrate the end of another school year. I definitely want to go back before it closes in early June. This time I got food from three different stalls: Bee Sting pizza from Roberta's Pizza, sugar cookie dough and tea time ice cream from Steve's and a nutella arancini from Arancini Bros. I would definitely recommend the pizza and the arancini (I want to go back and try a savory one!).
At home, my visit revolved around my sister, Laine's spring musical, which she starred in! She played Marcy Park in 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. Lots of fun and surprises at every performance!
and lastly, (but perhaps most importantly?) I ate lots of food.

Spring madness
The past three weeks have been one giant blur! Two weeks ago was a very kitty week. I was so excited to get my hands on the Hello Kitty Laduree boxes I could hardly contain my excitement!! I'm not sure what I'm going to use the boxes for, besides decoration. I already have one of the Valentine's boxes for my sticky notes...maybe for my phone charger/chords? I'll have to think about it.
Last week I had a giant school project/presentation that was very..... stressful. But it's done and on to the next test/paper.
My sister and her friend Fiona visited me over the weekend. It was Fiona's first time in New York, so we tried to do a lot of stuff in a short time period. I woke up sick on Friday, so I think it might take me all week to recover. We spent a lot of time shopping and probably eating too much food.
Friday, we went shopping and had Shake Shack as a late lunch, followed by more shopping and Artichoke pizza.
Saturday, we tried to go to Clinton St Baking Co. but there was a 2.5 hour wait!! Instead, we went to Doughnut Plant and then Smorgasburg and some thrifting. At night, the girls went to see Newsies and I went to Eunice's birthday dinner at Inoteca. Really yummy! We did the party menu, so we got to try lots of appetizers and entrees!
Sunday, we went to Chelsea Market and ate at Sarabeths. Then, we went to the Easter Parade, followed by Laduree, Teuscher and a break in Central Park. For dinner, we went to Eataly. Four out of the five times I've been there, I've been to the pizza pasta restaurant, and it never disappoints!

I. AM. SO. BORED.
Michigan is so, so, so boring. It's freezing outside, and I don't have a car anymore, and all my friends are up north until like, later today/tomorrow morning. Anyway, I attempted to install the software update for my ipod. HUGE MISTAKE. Now my ipod is like, completely useless, and I just got so much new music from my sistah!
Anyway, last night, I had the most enlightening conversation with my friend Ben (who, for the record, is the NYU version of my best friend Jordan). It all started with,
"I met your friend Stephen"
"where??"
"on fb. duhh"
In other news, Jordan just got this fabulous apartment, but he doesn't move in until April/May ie. when school is over. But still, it's gorgeous. ugghh, if only it could be mine!
