ahhh, those were the days

Ever since Thanksgiving Break, I've been reminiscing about my Cranbrook days. I mean, it's been a whole seven months!! Even though it's really cheesy and corny and trite, Cranbrook really did feel like my second home—I did go to school there for 13 years! Anyway, what I miss most is the physical beauty of the campus. Don't get me wrong, I love NY and NYU's non-traditional campus (as in, I consider Washington Square Park MY quad, regardless of it's public park status...), but I love NYU's non-traditional campus so much because I've already gone to school with handsome buildings, a quad, fountains here and there, throw in a few man make lakes, maybe a forest or two, all situated on an approximately 320 acre campus (according to wikipedia).

Winter is my favorite season because I love snow! And this past week, there was a blizzard in the mid-west, with 13 inches of snow! That's when Cranbrook looks its best, in my opinion. I've conveniently found some pics for you to peruse as we marvel over Cranbrook's beauty together!

oriental gardens

random waterfall where the grad students frequently do art installations

Cranbrook House—my mumma works there!

Christ Church Cranbrook

the quad at night! except they're still renovating, so it doesn't look this good at the moment

Cranbrook Dining Hall aka. the Great Hall from Harry Potter

Kingswood lake!

I shall sift through my pics in the near future to further promote your Cranbrook education. As for now, I must mentally prepare myself to go to work. And I must finish my wte draft in the near future. I did however do my media studies worksheets this morning, so that's a plus.... all I need to do is learn the terms. All six pages of them.

Off to 1008-B for a quick chat, then Uniqlo for the night.
